Interns who carried out internship in the month of July at the University of Buea campus radio, Chariot FM have given a token of appreciation. The batch of interns handed a large wall clock, on Thursday 12 October, 2023 to the station manager in the presence of the Chariot Executive and some students at the news room of the Chariot Radio.
Attached to the clock, read a message: “this is to show appreciation for the good work and all they offered to us”.
Receiving the gift, The Chariot Station Manager, Rene Isah expressed thanks at the gesture. He said this was inspiring after a one month long journey with the students under the leadership of the radio coordinator, Dr. Otto Enyame.
“I want to tell them that they are not only journalists but ambassadors of the radio. They should keep excelling and shoot out in greatness.” He said.
The radio beaming out of the campus of the University of Buea, Open Commons on frequency modulation 93.5 Megahertz is a practical laboratory in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. On the Chariot Radio, they affirm the tagline before it’s on radio it’s on Chariot FM.
